I love to make play dough at home as it is easy, cheap and you always know what’s in it!
This recipe is no-cook, making it super simple and quick. There is only one other play dough recipe that beats this one, but you need to cook it. It still only takes less than 5 minutes, but not as easy as 1-2-3. Click here for details…

As winter is in the air, we decided it was time to add some ‘ice’ and ‘winter’ to our next batch of play dough!
I have included an easy step by step video at the end of the instructions!

What supplies do you need to make this fabulous no-cook winter play dough?
- This makes one biggish ball.
- 2 cups plain flour
- 1/2 cup table salt
- 2 Tbsp Cream of Tartar
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil – I used Sunflower Oil
- 1 cup of boiling water
- about 1/3 cup glitter – please try and use biodegradable ones where possible.
Add the dry ingredients followed by the boiling water and oil and give it a good stir!
Once all the bits have come together you can give it a good knead!! Have a look at this step by step instruction video:
