Giant Bubble Recipe

This giant bubble recipe is one of those things that you make for your kids and then end up playing with it yourself!!

It’s great! This recipe will keep anyone entertained for hours!

This is our recipe for a regular bubble mixture. We usually make this by the bucket load and then use it all summer!

This giant bubble recipe produces bubbles as big as your body!

Giant Bubble Recipe Ingredients:

For the mixture:

  • 6 cups of water
  • 1/2 cup dishwashing soap
  • 1/2 cup cornflour / cornstarch
  • 1 TBSP glycerine

For the wand:

Mix all the ingredients together and give them a good stir. Try not to make the mixture to frothy and bubbly as it works better when the bubble wands are placed into liquid rather than bubbles.

TIP: works even better the next day!

Next, you are going to need to make yourself some big bubble wands.

I did this by using two long sticks and tied string onto them (see pictures.) I weighted down the string in the middle with heavy wooden beads. A fishing sinker works very well or a metal washer!

All that is now left to do is play!

Once you get the hang of making these giant bubbles, see if you can send the up into the air! You will be surprised at how far they go!
