There is very little that says SUMMER more than this wonderfully refreshing and super tasty Iced Tea!!

It is so easy to make, you can make it by the pitcher full and drink it all day long!

I make it in my Kids Cafe in two secs, it is great fresh and it keeps well in the fridge. You can keep it in a sealed jug/container up to four days after making!

Serving it in Jam Jars or Mason Jars adds a little extra to what is actually a very simple drink!

We ‘pretty it up’ with slices of strawberry and lemon and serve it with LOTS of ice!!

I prefer to put the ice straight into the glass – rather than into the iced tea as the ice left behind will water down the remaining tea!

Jasmine Iced Tea Ingredients:

To make 1 Liter:

  • Green Jasmine Tea –  You need 1 – 2 tea bags for 1 liter, if you love a strong tea taste then use 2.
  • Strawberry Juice Concentrate or Strawberry Juice Syrup – you often get this for kids as Strawberry is a super popular flavor! You need a squirt – depending on the strength and concentration.  This one will work a treat!
  • Lemon Juice – juice of 1 lemon

To serve:

  • Ice
  • Lemon Slices
  • Strawberries

EASY to make – this is how:

First brew your tea. I make a teapot of tea – using one teabag. If you prefer your iced tea to be stronger then use 2.

Make ahead of time so you have time to chill in the fridge!

**If you don’t have time to make the tea in advance you can add lots of ice and it cools it fast as anything!!

Choose a jug or carafe to make your iced tea in. Be careful with glass, not all glass can handle heat – so don’t add hot tea to something you are unsure of!

Into the jug add the lemon juice, a squirt of strawberry juice concentrate – this is to sweeten and add a little flavor, but you don’t add much – you are not making strawberry juice!

Taste at the end and see if you want it to be sweeter and have more strawberry flavor! I used about a tablespoon of concentrate.

Add the tea. Fill the rest with water – to make a total of 1 Liter.

Add strawberry and lemon pieces.

I normally leave the tea bag in for a while – a few hours. If you want to keep it in the fridge for a few days it keeps perfectly – just remember to take the tea bag out.

Happy Drinking!!
